Overview

The 5th Annual Advances in Motion Preservation of the Spine course provides an in-depth evaluation of current and emerging techniques in spine surgery used to preserve spinal mobility. Through cadaveric demonstrations and instructional didactics, we teach the best evidence-supported practices surrounding disc arthroplasty, laminoplasty, motion preserving stabilization and endoscopic techniques.

This hybrid course will include lectures, live surgical demonstrations and offer the opportunity for learners to attend virtual.

  2. Assess and share technological and technical details to optimize outcomes and avoid complications and poor outcomes
  3. Outline the limitations of motion preserving surgery

The Seattle Science Foundation is located on the Cherry Hill Campus of Swedish Hospital at 550 17th Avenue, James Tower, Suite 600 in Seattle, Washington. Parking is available in the garage on 16th Avenue between Cherry and Jefferson at a maximum fee of $16.50. From I-5 (northbound and southbound), James will become Cherry Street. Turn right (south) on 16th Avenue. Turn right into the main garage entrance.
