The course will focus on the diagnosis and multidisciplinary management of patients with metastatic spine tumors. Experts in neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuro-oncology, medical oncology, pain management, and radiology will explore the multimodal management of primary and metastatic spinal tumors.

Objectives

By attending this course, the participant will provide better patient care through an increased ability to:


  1. Recommend the most recent diagnostic, surgical, and pathological advances in the evaluation of patients with metastatic spinal tumors
  2. Summarize standard and emerging treatments for patients with metastatic spinal tumors
  3. Describe multimodal management of spinal metastases, including surgery, radiation, and pain management
  4. Review the diagnosis and treatment of primary and metastatic spinal tumors
  5. Discuss the decision framework developed for the treatment of spinal tumors
  6. Summarize the radiology, radiation and medical oncology, surgery and pain management treatment options available for patients with spinal tumors

Turn right (south) on 16th Avenue. Turn right into the main garage entrance.
